Why Are Blogs Important

Blogs are fast becoming the single most important component of any Web site. As a matter of fact, a blog can be your ENTIRE Web site. I believe using blog software like WordPress or others has become the new evolution of what I would call a “traditional” or even “old school” method for implementing a Web site.

Whenever I get a call from a prospective client about a new Web site, I’ll ask them two questions: 1) “Is your Web site getting all the leads and sales you were hoping?” and 2) “Are you able to maintain your own content?”

In both cases the answers are almost 90% “NO!”

A blog or an entire Web site that’s setup using blog software supplies the pieces necessary to help make that answer turn to a YES!
